AKIMI Slemmestad / Asker
Developed: August 2011 - January 2012
Website and design developed for AKIMI, a gym and health centre near Oslo. Previous website was complicated and time-consuming to keep regularly updated, requiring basic skills in HTML and FTP.
It is now being administed through an easy web interface, by any instructor or employee with individual log-in details. Several new functionality developed in response to needs, for example:
- Weekly schedule of classes: updates automatically 4 weeks ahead. Repeating classes may be changed for a specific date if neccesary, in addition to one-off events.
- Membership request: additional registration of personal details for membership request. E-mailed to reception for processing.
- Multiple subsites: seperate websites for their two centre locations.
Users of the website may get special offers and will eventually have the ability to sign up for classes. Online overviews simplify administrative tasks and lets AKIMI focus at what they're best at!
