What am I doing in Loughborough?!

Yesterday Marie finally came "home" to Edinburgh, yet all I had time for was a nice dinner before team loyalty - I guess - stole me away. To Loughborough!!

So where on earth is that? Just a 6 hour drive away into Central England. We arrived late yesterday, had a pint in the hotel pub, and went to bed to be well rested for todays match. Knock-out match in fact, to go to the British Universities' Finals.

So, my motivation became to make the trip worth it - to the degree it could be anyway. I'm going to have to rethink that, as the match itself didnt provide the results we wanted. To lose, yet be sooo close in each set, is just really annoying. Only situation more annoying then mine would have been going here, but not getting any courttime at all.

At the moment I feel like thinking "What am I doing in Loughborough?!" Well, we've just started the long way home, so I can at least look forward to spending some time where I want to be, together with Marie, for the next couple weeks.
