Mapping our reach out into the world!

This week has been quite different from the average week as an architecture student. As the last 5 weeks concerned materiality, we were given a project of inmateriality! Over two days we were to create and present something (anything!) on the "digital skin" of the university's Inspace Gallery.
Lots of groups created amazing animations and hilarious movies, while I took another route and wrote a script for a webpage that stored the visitor's IP address and thereby location.
The idea was to make all the students share this link on Facebook and make their friends click it as well, so that I could create a map spreading out like a web of our reach out into the world!
In just 24 hours we gathered over 120 unique IPs and their locations, and even after the exhibition the map has continued to expand! It's still up and running, so YOU CAN STILL PARTICIPATE and if you click the Share-button afterwards you'll have your own web spreading out from your location!
