About Sigurd

My name is Sigurd Strøm Nørsterud, and I'm a third year architecture student at ESALA, a joint programme of the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art. The beautiful and atmospheric city of Edinburgh is a really suitable place to study Architecture, while at the same time not being too far away to go home for holidays.

In my free time, I'm playing volleyball at the university's sports team and even learned some of the martial art Jiu Jitsu. No doubt which is most physically demanding, and after some blood, tears (?) and lots of sweat during two gradings, I'm now an orange belt.

Other key interests are travelling, photography, web-programming and macs.

Before moving to Edinburgh, I'd spent all my life on the small peninsula Røyse about an hour outside of Oslo. To prepare for architecture studies I attended a one-year course at an Art & Design College, driving an hour each way in a lovely Toyota Prius.
